Welcome To my site!
Here you will find my life as I live it. To your left is some information about me. Below that is a poll that I update every once in awhile (please vote). Below that there are two links, One is my guestbook that I would ask you to sign every once in awhile to let me know what you think of me and/or the sight. Also there is a photo gallery with pictures of friends, family, and some pictures that I have taken with artistic intent.
My posts are free to all to read. I do however request that after you read them you leave a comment about what you read. It's not too time consuming, just click on the comment link at the bottom of each post to bring up the commenting menu. Then fill in the information and post it, it's that simple! I then read them and respond back to them in that same place so check back there often.
I thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay.
God Bless!
Due to our recent popularity I have built a site for my band "MileHigh". If you want to check us out go to...
www.milehighmusic.blogspot.com
Well I must say that my musical life has been quite exciting recently. I did finally finish recording "Drown" and it sounds great. If you would like to listen to it you can go to either of these two links to hear it.
www.isound.com/music/milehigh
or
www.purevolume.com/milehigh
The song is downloadable at the isound site if you click on the blue box with the white arrow. If you have trouble finding it look in the middle of the page just down and to the right of our logo and it's right there.
Well just when I thought that I ran out of recording time I got some more! We played at "Battle of the Bands" and got first place. Because of that we won three more hours of recording time! So as soon as I can pay for the three to four hours more that I'll need to finish another song (a song takes us about 6-7 hours) I'll have another recorded song! We are really excited and are now getting ready to play at a young marriage retreat in May.
That ISOUND website is really nice because it hosts your music on their site so that people can just surf by genre and find bands that they like. When a band starts getting enough attention record companies start listening and then sign those bands that they want to have. So it's a win win situation. You get exposure and if you rock hard enough you become famous. I have actually been kind of excited because they rate all the bands on the site based on listener approval, sound quality, talent, and how many people visit your site often. There are 6,000 bands on that site. I have been watch us climb the charts over the last week. In our first week we went from last place (because we were new) and then we climbed all the way to #387 in one day. Then over this last week we have moved from #387 all the way to #95 and we are still climbing. I'm so excited that we are on the top 100 list because those 100 bands are the ones the recording companies look through. Not that I think we would get signed and famous or anything but it's nice to know that there are recording companies listening and possibly thinking about wanting us.
So yeah music has been exciting. I'm gonna go now so I'll update in a day or two so see you then. This site is going to be more of a journal now with updates on my life and what it's like when you only have a month of high school left ect. So yeah check back every day or two and I'll have wrote about what I have been up to.
Late,
-Pat
Hah I thought that I would have those CD's out by now but alas I ran out of time for mastering the CD last time so I have to wait until monday to get the final version of Drown. I did successfully record vocals, which was by the way very fun. Anytime you can sing/scream into a $2500 is considered a good day in my books. So when that comes out I can start showing it off to people and seeing how everyone likes it. I hope that people like it anyways..... Well that is my little update on recording so later!
Gosh!!! I guess I don't post enough! Mrs. Walley over here has no patience! Lol I'm just kidding of course! Well I'm going to try to update more now... I've just been really busy lately with various choir trips ect. So I think I can update now... So THERE!!!
